Website privacy notice
This notice covers the public Special Projects landing pages at magicunicorn.dev, operated by Magic Unicorn Unconventional Technology & Stuff Inc. Applications and sign-in services linked from these pages have their own data practices.
Website analytics
We use Umami at analytics.unicorncommander.ai to measure visits. Your browser sends the website identifier, page address and title, hostname, referring page, browser language and screen dimensions to that endpoint.
Cloudflare supplies a browser performance beacon. It sends page location, a page-load identifier, load and rendering timings, browser and software version information, and available browser memory measurements to /cdn-cgi/rum to measure website performance.
Browser controls or extensions can limit analytics requests. Loading the website still requires network requests for page delivery.
The mission brief form
The form on the landing page assembles your name, organization, email address, requested engagement, open-source preference, problem description and proposed first proof into an email draft in your browser. “Create mission email” opens your email application addressed to [email protected]; you decide whether to send it. “Copy brief” copies the assembled text to your clipboard.
The form does not submit the brief to a form-processing server. If you send the email, we receive the message and sender details through email so we can respond. Your email application and provider process the message as part of sending it.
Page delivery and logs
Cloudflare delivers and protects website traffic. Our web server is configured to log connection and forwarded addresses, request time and resource, response status and size, referring page and browser user-agent. These records support operation and troubleshooting.
